Why I Built WithYouAgain

I want to talk something about why I chose to build WithYouAgain with a few words.

The idea started when I came across some videos about pets returning for Día de Muertos. They touched me deeply. Watching them brought back a lot of my own past experiences, and I thought maybe I could use AI to make this kind of video too—to express feelings inside me.

The name WithYouAgain comes from something very personal.

There have been many times in my life when I wished I could see the people or animals who were important to me again. At the same time, I’ve always felt that once they had a choice, they would want to come back to my side too.

To me, With You Again is a wish from both sides. I want to see you again, and I know you want to see me again too.

Of course, I know reality cannot be undone. Some feelings are hard to describe, and even sometimes very hard to carry. Over time, maybe they slowly become quieter, turning into memories deep inside our hearts.

Even so, if AI can help build a dreamlike scene of reunion—letting them return to our side again in that scene—perhaps that can bring some comfort to both sides of that wish.

At least, we always want to do something ourselves. We want to see them again. We want to find a way to be inside that world again where we were once together, even if that world is no longer our reality today.

We want to leave behind a trace showing that they really existed here. And the desire to see them coming back to us again is still so strong.

Whether it is for a holiday or an ordinary day, across languages and across time, the wish to be reunited never changes.

This is the very first video-generation website I have built, and getting it here took a lot of trial and error. I am still learning and working to make it better, so if you have any suggestions, I would really love to hear them.
